1. About the Service
DonAlte provides an AI-generated video-alert platform ("Service") that lets viewers send personalized on-stream video alerts to streamers. By using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy policy in full.
2. Payments
All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in USD and include applicable fees. Your payment is collected at checkout before video generation begins.
3. Refund Policy
We will issue a full automatic refund if:
- The AI video generation fails after all retry attempts, or
- The alert is not delivered within 15 minutes of payment.
Refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Successful deliveries are non-refundable. If you believe a delivery failed but no refund was issued, contact us at support@donalte.com.
4. Prohibited Content
Messages must not contain: hate speech, harassment, sexual content involving minors, threats of violence, personal information of third parties, or any content that violates applicable law. Violations may result in immediate cancellation without refund and a permanent ban from the Service.
5. Data We Collect
- Account data: Twitch user ID, display name, and profile image (obtained via OAuth).
- Transaction data: donation amount, selected character, message text, Stripe payment intent ID, and delivery status.
- Technical data: browser type, session token (cookie), approximate time of request.
6. How We Use Your Data
- To process your payment and generate the AI alert video.
- To display the alert on the streamer's overlay.
- To send automatic refunds when delivery fails.
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.
We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.
7. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
8. Your Rights
If you are in the EU / EEA / UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To submit a data request, email support@donalte.com with the subject line "Data Request" and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Data Retention
Transaction records are retained for 7 years to comply with accounting regulations. Account data is deleted upon request unless retention is required by law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
